Web Marketing Tip: Semantic Web Page Layout
February 26th, 2010, Category: Web Marketing Tip
When it comes to your website marketing campaign, get the ball rolling by laying good foundations – Rome, after all, wasn’t built in a day.
Web Marketing HTML Structure
With your web marketing, introduce a properly ordered HTML structure.
Your HTML structure should have the main content at the top of the web page, followed by secondary content such as your sidebars. Give greater emphasis to the information most relevant on the web page.
Mr Google knows that the content at the top of a web page is more likely to represent the page as a whole, so it’s a good idea to make Google’s life easier. You won’t like Mr Google when he’s mad – or so I’ve been told.
